Meaning
A partner's salary is an amount appropriated to a particular partner as a reward for services or extra work in managing the business. It is not an expense but an appropriation of profit, recorded on the debit side of the Appropriation Account.
Example
Gina actively manages Indah Partnership and is allocated a partner's salary of RM1,500 a month, that is RM18,000 a year in the Appropriation Account.
