Meaning
An uncredited deposit is money or a cheque that has been banked and recorded in the cash book by the business but not yet credited by the bank into the account. It has not yet appeared on the bank statement at the date of reconciliation.
Example
Ilmu Bookshop puts RM400 of takings into the deposit machine on the night of 31 May; the bank only processes it on 1 June, so it is not in the May statement.
