Meaning
A club or society is a non-profit organisation set up to serve the shared interests, welfare or activities of its members. Its main source of income is membership subscriptions rather than trading. Its main aim is to provide services to members, not to earn a profit.
Example
For example, Sinar Recreation Club provides a badminton court for members. Members pay RM60 a year to use the facilities, and any surplus is used to buy new equipment.
