Meaning
A partner's Current Account is the account that records the periodic transactions between the partnership and a partner when the fixed capital method is used. It contains interest on capital, partner's salary and share of profit (credits) as well as drawings and interest on drawings (debits). Its balance changes from time to time.
Example
Ika's Current Account is credited RM2,000 interest on capital and RM8,000 share of profit, but debited RM3,000 drawings, giving a credit balance of RM7,000.
