Meaning
Non-current assets are assets held for long-term use, usually more than one year, and not intended for resale. Examples include land, buildings, vehicles and fittings. These assets are listed in the top section of the Statement of Financial Position.
Example
Selera Kampung Restaurant owns a vehicle worth RM45,000 and furniture worth RM8,000 as non-current assets. These assets are used to run the business, not to be sold.
