Meaning
A personal account is an account that records dealings with a person, firm or organisation, that is, the debtors and creditors of a business. Examples include the account of a customer who owes money or a supplier who has not yet been paid. It shows the amount the business will receive or must pay.
Example
Example: The account of Mr Rahman (a creditor) shows a credit balance of RM1,200, meaning Damai Enterprise still owes him RM1,200 for goods bought on credit.
